This extraordinary George I oak kneehole dressing table or desk is of extremely narrow proportions being just 12 inches deep. When I first saw it I thought that it must have been cut down, but it this is definitely not the case. It has a one piece moulded edge top above one long drawer and a central cupboard flanked two banks of three small drawers. Surrounding the drawers it has elegant double D mouldings and it stands on attractive bracket feet. Excellent medium colour. The size makes it a very versatile piece which could stand anywhere including in a corridor. It measures29 1/2 inches wide x 12 inches deep x 29 1/2 inches high.
