A good early 18th century oil on canvas portrait of a lady in a green dress. The portrait is typical of the style of Sir Godfrey Kneller (1646-1723) and may well be from his studio. It is set in a fine giltwood frame of the period and measures 33 1/2 inches x 39 inches across the frame.
