A 16th century giltwood armorial panel depicting a pair of rampant griffins holding banner standards and a shield with three rampant lions and fleur-de-lis on either side. Above is a helm in profile and a head which probably would have had a crown. Lovely unrestored condition. Probably English circa 1560. 37 inches wide x 22 inches high.
