A good pair of late 18th century Dutch delft tobacco vases with their brass lids. They are typically decorated in blue on a white glaze with a pipe smoking indeginous figure beside a tobacco jar in a landscape with shipping in the background. One bears the inscription St. Omer and the other St. Domingo. Both have the marks of the Three Bells factory on their bases. A very similar pair sold at Cheffins auction lot number 162 on 21st April 2021 when they fetched £2000. They stand 11 inches high without the covers.
