Probably North Country, this armchair has excellent carving to the crest rail and double panelled back. The seat rails and front stretcher have channel moulding and the baluster turned legs retain the remains of their toes. Original throughout including the one piece seat. Circa 1640. 48 inches high (the seat height is 19 1/2 inches) x 24 inches wide.
