A charming example of country furniture, this late 17th century six plank boarded chest is in pine and is a rare survivor. It retains much of its original pale blue paint over which other stain and paint has been added. Of typical form, it has a moulded edge top and it stands on Gothic arch sides. 46 inches wide x 14 1/2 inches deep x 20 inches high.
