Some of the nicest examples of country furniture are in patinated pine as is exemplified by this candlestand which has lovely figuring to the top, a square section support and cruciform feet. Superb colour throughout and in excellent untouched condition. Hard to date but probably circa 1750 although similar examples are shown in Chinnery on page 253 where he dates them as 1700.. 17 inches diameter x 27 inches high.
