A rare pair of mid 17th century oak joint stools with moulded edge tops and ring turned legs terminating on their original toes. Excellent colour and patination and in untouched condition. Probably Breconshire circa 1640. See Christies sale The Manor House, Bramcote 24th May 2001 for a very similar single stool that sold for £4465. The tops 18 inches x 11 inches, 23 inches high.
