Recently acquired from a fine collection in Wiltshire, this mid 17th century oak form has good overhang to the top, lunette carved rails with spandrels carved from the solid and gun barrel legs retaining their original toes. Excellent medium colour. See lot 114 at the Morville Hall Collection for similar bench which fetched £9375. 65 1/2 inches long x 10 1/2 inches wide x 20 1/2 inches high.
