An early 18th century London delft drug jar decorated a cartouche reading U:FL.SAMBUC (elder flowers). The decoration is particularly attractive with a pair of winged cherubs holding flowers above the cartouche and a winged angel's head below. Circa 1730. 7 1/2 inches high.
