A top quality Charles II oak two part chest with three side hung drawers which are decorated with geometric "bunned out" mouldings and inlay in ash and an exotic timber, possibly faded snakewood. Further decoration is in the form of superbly turned split baluster appliques. The chest has a thin moulded edge top, panelled sides and a boarded back. Excellent rich colour and patination. 38 1/2 inches wide x 21 1/2 inches deep x 36 inches high.
