This rare little table is constructed in the form of a joint stool but is larger and has clearly never been used as a stool. The top is one piece of elm with excellent figuring to the wood and is inlaid with a star in the centre and arrow like designs in the corners. The oak base has shaped rails, elegant turned legs with their original toes and moulded top stretchers. the colour and patination are outstanding and it is in untouched condition. It measures 19 inches x 12 1/2 inches across the top x 26 1/2 inches high.
