This Charles I oak mural livery or glass cupboard has two doors, each with two rows of three well turned spindles and a single shelf. At the top there is a broad cornice above a strapwork carved frieze. Holes to the top and back boards suggest that the cupboard may originally have been intended to hang on rope. See Chinnery pages 288-293 for similar examples including one intended to hang on ropes. Good untouched colour. 32 1/2 inches wide (on the cornice) x 12 inches deep x 28 inches high.
