Probably Welsh and dating to about 1730, this tripod table is a lovely example of rustic furniture. It has a boarded top supported by a birdcage mechanism with an unusual pegged catch. the turned stem and carved legs are very characterful and the table has excellent colour and patination. 28 inches diameter x 26 1/2 inches high.
