A lovely example of vernacular furniture, this mid 18th century candle stand is constructed entirely in elm with a thick one piece well figured top, a pole lathe turned baluster stem and three silhouette cabriole legs. Excellent colour. Probably Wales or West Country. 13 inches diameter x 27 inches high.
