A wonderful Welsh, probably Radnorshire, oak candlestand with an octagonal top decorated with pendant finials in the form of acorns and with a reel carved edge that is repeated on the baluster turned stem and the knees of the cabriole legs. The quality of the carving is superb and the piece has excellent rich colour and patination. The top is 18 inches x 18 inches and it is 28 inches high.
