The carcase of this William and Mary chest of drawers is oak but the top and four drawers are veneered in superbly figured burr elm crossbanded in ash. The drawers are side hung, the sides panelled and the back boarded. Excellent colour throughout. circa 1690. 37 inches wide x 22 1/2 inches deep x 34 1/2 inches high.
