Being just 17 inches front to back and with unusually high legs, this elegant mid 18th century oak dresser base would be perfect in a hall or as a serving table. It has three drawers above four slender double baluster turned front legs which terminate on their original toes, the two rear legs are square section and the stretchers have well worn moulded edges. Lovely rich colour and patination. Circa 1740. 71 inches wide x 17 inches deep x 32 inches high.
