Probably dating from about 1660, this small mural cupboard was originally intended for food and its back it has holes allowing for air circulation. It has a single door which is carved with a diamond with flying pennants, a design usually associated with the Dales area of Yorkshire (see Chinnery page 434 for other examples of this carving). The floral carving on the rest of the front is also typical of Yorkshire. Dark crusty colour. 32 inches wide 18 inches high x 11 1/2 inches deep.
