A mid 18th century oak coffor bach with a pegged lid above a pair of ogee arch fielded panels and with two small drawers. The side and back are boarded and it stands on bracket feet. Excellent rich colour and patination. Probably Carmarthenshire circa 1760. See Bebb "Welsh Furniture" vol. II page 75 for similar examples. 25 inches wide x 12 inches deep x 19 1/2 inches high.
