Dating to about 1780, this lovely Thames Valley comb back armchair is constructed in fruitwood and walnut with a well figured and broad elm seat. The chair has a shaped crest rail, a fretted splat and a generous arm bow. Excellent rich colour and patination. 41 inches high, 18 1/2 inches seat height and 23 1/2 inches wide on the arms.
