A rare set of four Dutch delft early 18th century syrup jars decorated in blue with the inscriptions S.CIDONIOR (fruit of the quince tree), ALTHAE FER (root of marshmallow), MENTH (peppermint) and PAPAV.ALB (opium poppy). Circa 1730. 8.5 inches high.
