I have reluctantly decided to sell this set of seventeen London delft polychrome plates that I have built up over the last twenty years. I initially bought a set of six and since then have acquired them in pairs and singles. They show a parrot sitting on the branch of a tree stump surrounded by flowers. See "London Delftware" by Frank Britton plate 155 where they are ascribed to Lambeth High Street mid to late 18th century. They are nine inches in diameter. I also have one 12 inches charger with the same pattern. They can be sold as a group or could be split.
