A Queen Anne gateleg table made entirely from yew wood apart from the two drawers (possibly old replacements). Unusually, the gates work in the same direction. Wonderful figuring to the timber and rich colour. 48 1/2 inches x 40 1/2 inches across the top extended x 27 1/2 inches high. See Christies' sale The Manor House, Bramcote on 24th May 2001 lot 321 where a similar table made £47,000!
