Hard to date but probably late 17th century, this simple but charming boarded oak settle is full of character and has excellent untouched colour and rich patination. The settle formed the frontispiece of the invitation card for Suffolk House Antiques' invitation card for the Summer Selling Exhibition in 2004 and has recently been reacquired. A later fitted cushion is available. 46 inches wide 18 inches deep x 47 inches high.
