A small Charles I oak chest with a triple panelled top held by its original hinges and a double panelled front with excellent deep carving of various designs including S type associated with the Salisbury area of Wiltshire. The back and sides are also panelled and it stands on good high legs and retains its original till. Excellent rich colour. 36 inches wide x 19 inches deep x 22 1/2 inches high.
