This lovely little chest probably dates to about 1725 and has two short and three long drawers, all with their original handles and escutcheons and with good thin oak linings. The top and drawer fronts are veneered in well figured burr elm and inlaid with simulated bog oak. The sides and feet are walnut. Lovely colour and patination. 31 inches wide x 14 inches deep x 31 inches high.
