Dating from the first half of the 19th century, this Nottinghamshire armchair is made entirely in yew wood apart the elm seat. It has a double fretted splat, a crinoline stretcher and excellent colour. It is 41 1/2 inches high overall and the seat height is 18 1/2 inches.
