A mid 19th century comb back armchair in a variety of indigenous woods including ash and alder. The chair is almost certainly from the town of Darvel near Glasgow. Darvel was a centre of high quality chair making in the 19th centre. Very comfortable, it comes with a fitted cushion. 45 inches high and 18 inches seat height.
